Obituary For Andrew Flynn Armstrong

Andrew Flynn Armstrong

(“Drew”, “Drewcifer”, “Drewstroyer”, “Nan”)

Was surrounded by love as he passed away on October 22, 2021 after a courageous battle with melanoma. Drew was the lead singer for, and toured the U.S. with the Seattle based deathcore band, Idols. He worked security around the Seattle area for many years which allowed him to make lasting friendships, and a huge impact on many lives. Andrew was a fierce protector, a kind, hilarious, loving, and loyal son, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved graphic novels, video and board games, comedy, tattoos, music, Comic-Con, horror movies, friends, his security brothers and sisters, and his family. He was loved immensely by those who knew him. Andrew chose Terramation as his final resting state. He wanted to gift his body to the earth while reducing his carbon footprint in the hopes that future generations could benefit from his beautiful life. Andrew brought fun, laughter, and light to every situation he encountered. The world is less bright because of his absence.

I loved the information I watched on Newsy about Drew and his mother. What a meaningful and touching story of a remarkable young man that was so loved. RIP Drew. Friends from Florida ❤️
